So, one of the reasons why your ​youtube keeps pausing might be because of the Auto-pause feature set in the youtube app by default. It is created in such a way that whenever you are inactive on the device for quite a few times while watching a video, it will automatically pause so that you don’t miss out details in the video. Some of the other reasons could be- you might have not updated the app, using a malfunctioning browser or you need to remove the cache data.
